Vs Scotland and NXT Events are hosting SoulCalibur V events this Saturday!

February 3, 2012

Can’t make it to our SoulCalibur V launch event this Saturday in London? Then fear not as Vs Scotland and new comer NXT Event’s are hosting their own fighting game tournaments open to everyone!

Vs Scotland -

A New Chapter is written in the eternal story of two swords, the battle shifts this time to Dundee where warriors will assemble and do battle as many have before them. To coincide with the launch of Soul Calibur V, Branstar and Versus Scotland present a day of combat through friendly sparring and tournaments. The festivities will take place at the Craigtay Hotel; the date, the 4th of February, from when the sun is at its highest (12:00) until the cold winters evening (22:00).

Tournaments include Singles and Teams, some for prizes and some for pride. Test your Superpowers or go unarmed in some of the side events (Additional Games TBD).

Warriors should note that although they’re fighting for the cursed blade that they should provide their own weapons (BYO Stick/Pad). Borrowing is an option but not recommended as you could face the Weapons own Master.

Between the carnage warriors can refresh themselves at the bar and fill their stomachs before the next fray (Lunch 12-2, Dinner 7-9).

So ready yourselves for the new chapter and put your fighting spirit and warrior’s soul to the test.

NXT Events and FGM-Media present the very first Yorkshire Carnage –

Announcing their first collaborative event with local organisers FMG-MEDIA Yorkshire Carnage will be hosting 6 game tournaments in a single day event in 1vs1 double elimination format with group stages if needed.

All matches will be streamed live on TwitchTV and we will be giving away trophies and prizes for all tournaments, including official game merchandise.

The event will be hosted at the National Media Museum! Arguably one of the best gaming venues in Bradford, if not Yorkshire, with excellent transport links and a building which can’t be missed, the National Media Museum is the pride of Bradford and has everything we could have asked for!

They will also setup systems for casual gaming on the side too, so it isn’t all about the tournaments.
