CERGY- PONTOISE, FRANCE – 28 January 2010– NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. today announced the pre-order campaign for Dead to Rights: Retribution for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3. Customers who pre-order the game from selected retailers will have access to a retailer-exclusive downloadable pack that provides bonus content to enhance the gameplay in the final retail game. Each downloadable pack will offer players an opportunity to play as visually and functionally modified versions of one of the game’s main characters, as well as an additional bonus mode that alters the gameplay experience.

The “Jack Pack” features vice cop Jack Slate skinned in GAC (Grant City Anti-Crime) armour which offers an increased health boost. The pack also includes the explosive “action mode” where all shots fired go off with an extra powerful big bang.

The “Shadow Pack” features canine companion Shadow in an invisible predator style “skin” which reduces detection when stalking enemies with his stealth move. This pack also offers the visually striking “noir mode” where all on-screen graphics display in black, white and dramatic blood red, further immersing players in the deep noir themes of the game.

Dead to Rights: Retribution is a ground-up reinvention of the multi-million unit selling crime action series. Thrusting players into a mature neo-noir crime drama as vice cop Jack Slate and his canine companion Shadow, the game introduces an innovative new hybrid combat system that seamlessly blends third person shooting with hand-to-hand brawling and AI partner. Deadly on their own, Jack and Shadow are even more formidable as they team up to defeat the threats they uncover in Grant City.
