“One Piece is an extremely important manga property in Japan, eclipsing the very tough competition in terms of sheer popularity,” said Hiro Ochiai Vice President Sales and Marketing, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe. “We really believe that the fun, charm and appeal of One Piece is something that can cross any border, so we're very excited to bring this second part of Monkey D. Luffy's odyssey to Wii gamers around the world.”

The game was split into two episodes to accommodate the huge storyline which will keep the player engrossed throughout.
With the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controllers, players will pull, turn and swing to fight nefarious villains using each character’s own unique moves including Luffy’s “Gum Gum Storm” and Nami’s “Cyclone Tempo”. Players will choose from amongst more than 12 of their favourite characters to play as, with more than 30 boss characters from the original anime series to do battle with.
