Worldwide 'We Are Tekken' Instagram project - full details and T&C's
To the celebrate the launch of the latest edition of the legendary Tekken franchise, TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT™ 2, NAMCO BANDAI Games are launching a competition to find the very best Tekken inspired images. Dubbed “WE ARE TEKKEN”, the exhibition will be held from September 13th-15th at the East Gallery in London’s creative capital, Shoreditch.
The competition will play on the “Tag” element of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, with fans from around the globe being asked to use Instagram to tag photos that show what Tekken means to them. Whether this is a friend screaming with excitement, a piece of Tekken themed architecture, Tekken looking street art or even Tekken inspired hair, the search is on to find images of everything and anything that makes people think “Tekken”.
The top entries will have their images displayed at the East Gallery alongside the works of renowned graffiti and Rock artists Inkie and Vince Ray.
In addition, the artists selected to have their work on display will be invited to attend the exclusive opening party of the exhibition and there will be exclusive prizes for the very best image, as picked by Inkie and Vince Ray. The overall winner will receive a huge Tekken prize pack including the ‘We are Tekken’ edition of the game, Kotobukiya Yoshimitsu statue (limited to 500), ‘We are Tekken’ gamer shirt, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 bowling bag and Vince Ray’s, Anna Williams poster signed by Harada-san.
Entries will be accepted throughout the month of August and all you need to do is simply take your pictures and upload them to Instagram using #WEARETEKKEN or #TTT2.
