What is going on with the Shipments of THIS GAME!?????

This game is out of stock everywhere. It was out of Stock Day 1 in the UK. There were larger shipments to friggin France than the UK. Game came out 25th and virtually 95% of stores didn't get any copies in.

Why did NAMCO undership this game? NO Online retailers have this game in stock, it's almost impossible to find new without spending £70+. I've created E-mails and sent tweets to the PR's but damn no response.

What is going on? My local Retailer GAME tried to order copies but they did not get any, in fact my whole City has had NO copies in any physical stores.

  • I have the same problem, pre-ordered it from Game.co.uk and apparently they didn't get enough copies to even cover pre-orders. None of the stores in my town received any copies either.

  • IT's BS. The marketing PR on Twitter said they got more copies in but they haven't coz no site has updated stock and the gameseeker order still hasn't dispatched my game despite being over a week

  • Marketing PR and the suppliers are two separate companies but don't worry as it will definitely come.

  • I wouldn't trust gameseek. I've ordered things from them in the past that have said 2-3 days, and it's taken months for them to ship out.

    I suppose I'm lucky that I managed to get a copy from shopto. I originally had a preorder with GAME, but I swapped over to shopto at the last minute because GAME hadn't shown any signs of shipping it out.

    Funny really, reminds me of Xenoblade for the Wii. Same thing happened. Nintendo didn't ship enough copies out. Was sold out for a good couple of weeks.

  • I'm contacting Gameseek and want to Cancel my order. I have one with Gamestop. now the annoying thing about Gamestop is they said they had it IN STOCKso i purchased ASAP...and now they don't have any and i'm left waiting. They don't respond either.

    I understand you are dealing with it but I am annoyed that these retailers don't show any respect or attention to these games. If there was a clear answer you know "no stock" I wouldn't bother ordering, Gameseek are a bunch of A holes.

    Also about Xenoblade...i could buy xenoblade day 1 from shops easily. The game was out of stock a week after it came out. Abyss was out of stock literally 1 day and NONE of my retailers had it. Oh well, i'll wait but i'm not happy about these online retailers lying about their stock.

    This guy has sold 4 copes at more than £60. People on other auction sites selling it for £80+. People are stupid enough to pay that much money, money that doesn't go into the pockets of NAmco.

  • I just got an E-mail back from Gameseeker. Here is their response.

    "We do apologise the item you have ordered from us - Tales Of The Abyss on Nintendo3DS has been delisted. (No longer manufactured)

    Our Sincere apologies.
    We have tried our very best to get your order out to you but this will not be possible.
    We can either exchange your order for a different item or offer a refund."

    Ugh.

  • I am genuinely so sorry that you are having all of these problems -- regardless of that fact I work with Namco Bandai I do feel for you and we really do want to learn from all of these experiences to do better in the future.

  • Well thanks. Gameseek have refunded my order now. Gamestop haven't responded my e-mail either. Play.com have changed their release date to January 27th. Looks like noone will be getting any in until the new year if then.
