Rank up quicker offline in Tekken 6

This will work for all versions of the game (PS3, Xbox 360, PSP)
Put the settings onto easy mode, 30 seconds, 1 round and as an optional bonus, put on guard damage if you are feeling good. Also helps a lot if you install the game but that should have been done anyway.
Just go onto ghost battle and each time you win, always press up as it will take you to the better characters and then you can get promotions a lot quicker. Depending on your character, try and find an attack that knocks down, pretty fast, have large range or can lead to big combos or all of them. Finding a good attack that hits low and an attack that hits high that sets up combos (so long as it doesn't have too big a startup otherwise the CPU will punish) is also very useful or try to find an abusable tactic with the AI like Lee's down+Right kickx4.
